Burroughs Mitchell was an editor at [[MunseyFrankA Munsey Co.]] in the late 1930s. Pulp author [[RoscoeTheodore Theodore Roscoe]] described Mitchell as polishing much of the later [[TarzanCharacter Tarzan]] works of [[BurroughsEdgarRice Edgar Rice Burroughs]], which were turned in more as sketchy outlines than fully written stories.
