Thrilling Publications


Thrilling Publications was founded in the 1920s by Ned Pines. Thrilling continued publishing pulps under various names through 1955. Among the companyís more memorable magazines were Black Book Detective, Captain Future, Startling Stories, and the Thrilling series, including Thrilling Detective and Thrilling Mystery.

Background

Besides the Thrilling name, Pines also published pulps under the banners of Beacon Magazines, Better Publications and Standard Magazines.
