New Pulp is a broad term for stories written by modern authors that capture the style, spirit, and sensibility of the fiction that appeared in the pulp magazines. We concentrate on written prose rather than comics or sequential art, and we define New Pulp as stories set during the pulp era, or science-fiction, fantasy, horror, and other pulp genres written from the perspective of that era — not contemporary stories with a present-day sensibility. (That would just be regular fiction.)
The stories may feature new adventures of classic pulp characters, or new characters created in the pulp tradition.
Many of the purveyors of classic pulp magazines and material also carry New Pulp books — browse their sites when you’re shopping for newly-written adventures.
