We also got the rest of the follow-up to the prior Miss Truesdale mini, about this Victorian woman who merged with a Hyperborean woman gladiator, Anum Yassa, in Miss Truesdale and the Rise of Man, which is another four-issue miniseries. This one is a strange crossover with Hellboy, as well as Miss Truesdale in Victorian England and Anum Yassa in the past, and shows us the origin of the new race of Men who replace the Hyperboreans. Basically, us. I don’t know if we will get more in this series.

There is more in the Hellboy & the B.P.R.D. series.

First up, in January, we got the conclusion to the two-part The Ghost Ships of Labrador, where a bunch of ghost sailors take over a fishing village in Labrador. Then, in June, there is the one-shot The Monster of Nivola, which takes the team to Sardinia. I have no idea if we’ll see more later on.

A new character to the Hellboy Universe is introduced in Carmen Red Claw: Belly of the Beast. Set in the 1870s Old West, Carmen Red Claw is hinted to be a descendant of the pirate El Bogavante, whom The Lobster is connected to (descendant from?). So maybe she is an ancestor of his? In this miniseries, she fights an occult menace. This ran four issues from January to May. Will we see further adventures with her? Will the connections between El Bogavante and The Lobster be made clear? This is from Mignola and writer/artist Rae Allen.

We got The Crown: A Tale of Hell, a two-part series in February and April. This one focuses on Hellboy’s two demonic brothers vying for power in Hell, along with their sister. And Mignola and his brother wrote it. The storyline will continue in The Kingdom. No idea when or how long that one will run. The overall storyline seems to go into what happened before the birth of Hellboy.

In April, we get the third miniseries of Frankenstein: New World — The Speed of Darkness. This is set in the new world created after Ragna Roc, which occurred at the end of the Hellboy/B.P.R.D. series. Our heroes, Frankenstein and Lilja, work to save this New World from the evil parasite that is infecting it. As before, this will be a four-comic miniseries.

Starting in April, we should be seeing the conclusion to the Hellboy in Love storyline. First is a one-shot comic, Hellboy in Love: Black Eyes, and then in June we get the first of a two-issue series, Hellboy in Love: Obsidian. I’m unclear if this concludes this overall storyline or if there may be more coming.

In May, we get another Young Hellboy series, Young Hellboy: Thrilling Sky Adventures. This one features a return of Scarlett Santiago, whom Young Hellboy met in the prior mini. But is she actually appearing, or is he reading her comic-book adventures?

Finally, in July, we get the follow-up to the 2023 Giant Robot Hellboy miniseries, Giant Robot Hellboy Returns. It will be a two-part miniseries. I’m unclear if this concludes this overall series.

I have no idea at this point what might be coming for the rest of 2026, but I think we’ll get more. Further, several of these series are scheduled to be collected in hardback later this year as well. I know the Captain Henry, Miss Truesdale, and Carmen Red Claw series will be collected.

And there will be a trade paperback Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. collection with all the recent stories, including the ones coming in 2026. I expect the new Frankenstein: New World, Young Hellboy, and Hellboy in Love material to be collected, and maybe all the Giant Robot Hellboy as well. I have no idea about The Crown, as it’s only two issues, so I assume once the follow-up storyline finishes it will all be collected.

As a follow-up to my prior posting on the Hellboy-related comics, here are the comics that have come out so far in 2026 and those I am aware are coming.
