{"id":5498,"date":"2016-07-29T10:00:55","date_gmt":"2016-07-29T14:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/pulpsuperfan\/?p=5498"},"modified":"2016-07-29T16:57:52","modified_gmt":"2016-07-29T20:57:52","slug":"the-logic-of-my-postings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/pulpsuperfan\/2016\/07\/29\/the-logic-of-my-postings\/","title":{"rendered":"The Logic of my Postings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those who have followed my blog for awhile may be wondering if there is any logic to what I post when.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, there is.<\/p>\n<p>Early on I set down a general guideline for myself as to when certain posts are scheduled to appear:<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday<\/strong> is for posts focused on original pulps, along with their predecessors like dime novels and the like. Originals from oversees will also be included.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday<\/strong> is for posts focused on post pulp and new pulp, including most fanzines.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday<\/strong> is for, well, everything else. Posts on comics, movies &amp; serials, tv shows and radio will appear here, along with other oddballs like games, juvenile series and the like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Frequency of posts will vary. It depends on how many articles I have lined up. I try to write up enough articles so I have a couple of weeks lead time before I have to worry about more. At a minimum I try to have at least one posting per week. Two at the max. I also try to vary things from week to week if at all possible so I don&#8217;t have similar topics appear one after the other (works from the same author or the same character, etc). I&#8217;ll also avoid posting on a holiday, mainly as readership of the post may be affected.<\/p>\n<p>I encourage people to post their responses here.
