I, like most of you, make the rounds on eBay every few days to see if any nifty pulp-related stuff has appeared. I have my stand-by searches, but I frequently go off on tangents, which can uncover some interesting material sometimes.
Yesterday, I was reviewing my “Item’s I’m Watching” list for auctions that had ended. I clicked on one of those and there was a “you might be interested in…” link that caught my eye: Pulp hero bottles.
Wha…? (to borrow a vintage comic book phrase.)
Yep, “Pulp hero bottles.” I had to click it.
Now, I’ve seen a variety of homemade pulp “collector’s items” – pulp clocks, pulp fridge magnets, pulp models, etc. But medicine bottles?
You don’t see many of those at your local pulp shows. I’m curious to see how much they go for. Seller “Haunted-Jack” has gotten one bid as of this writing.
I may have to wait for the collectible Cthulhu Mouthwash bottle – “The Ancient Ones’ Secret to Eternally Fresh Breath.”

UPDATE: For those of you keeping tally at home: The trio of bottles sold for $15.50 with two bidders.
