I’d intended to post this earlier, but as I mentioned before, I got behind. A week or so ago the latest Pulpcon 36 newsletter arrived to remind me that I’d forgotten to send in my dues in time to get the earliest bird discount.
But there’s still time to save a bit if you send in your membership before June 16. It’s $40 for Thursday-Sunday, $30 for Friday-Sunday and $15 for Saturday-Sunday. If you wait to buy your ticket at the door, you’ll pay $10 more for the full Thursday-Sunday membership.
If you haven’t been keeping up with this year’s con, guests of honor will be Robert E. Howard scholar Glenn Lord and David Saunders, the son of the late pulp artist Norman Saunders. Both are celebrating anniversaries: It’s the 75th anniversary of Conan’s first appearance in Weird Tales, and would be the 100th birthday of artist Saunders.
Pulpcon 36 is slated for July 5-8.
