So you’ve been wishy-washy over whether to pick up one of the reprints of The Shadow or Doc Savage. This may change your mind.
Nostalgia Ventures’ online store, Nostalgia Town, says, “We know that once you begin reading any book in either one of these classic pulp fiction novel series, you’ll be hooked.”
Backing up their opinion is a mostly-free offer: Send in $3.50 for shipping (if you live in the U.S.; check with them if you’re overseas), and they will send you one of the reprints.
You can’t pick a specific title and the book will have “an irregularity or blemish.” Nostalgia Town goes on to explain, “While they are not in collector condition, it is intact and a great read.”

If a single free issue isn’t to your liking, you can get the whole collection — so far — of either The Shadow (21 books) or Doc Savage (20 books) for around $200 each. It comes out to about $10 a book (the list price is $12.95), so you’re saving around $60 per set.
