In case you missed the comment from slark, the completed DVD for his fanedit, Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze — DeTarnished, has been posted on Usenet at alt.binaries.dvd.
In addition to having “95% less camp,” the DVD (a chunky 4.3-gigabyte download) includes the re-edited movie, subtitles, slark’s text commentary, “Fragments from the Faneditor’s Floor” (footage he cut from the movie), a reconstructed featurette about the film and two movie trailers. If you pop the disc into your computer, you’ll have access to a bundle of Doc Savage items, including the DVD cover and label to the fanedit, posters and lobby cards for the original movie, a script of the unfilmed sequel Doc Savage: Arch Enemy of Evil, magazine articles and more.
Oh, if you download it, the password for reassembling the pieces is “fanedit.org“.
How do I access the site to download the movie? I have the original and would like to compare it to the fanedit.
Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Hi, Woody,
You’ll need to use a newsreader (for instance, GrabIt for Windows or Unison for Mac) to access the alt.binaries.dvd group on Usenet. You can download a direct link to the DVD file over on Binsearch.info.
The DVD image will be broken up into a lot of smaller files, which will need to be recombined into the DVD file once they are all downloaded.
I know that’s a rather basic explanation, but probably the best I can do. But you can find more information at Wikipedia.
