Here we are, just a month out from PulpFest 2025, and I’ve finally finished editing and uploading the panel recordings from PulpFest 2024. Hey, what’s a 10-month delay between friends?

But good news: They’re worth the wait. If you missed PulpFest last year, now’s your chance to listen to the fascinating discussions from a variety of pulp experts. (Or, if you were there, you can re-live the panels.)
We’ve got 13 presentations — totaling over 10.5 hours — covering last year’s PulpFest themes: Black Mask, pulp spies, and the racy Spicy pulps. Plus a few extras tied to FarmerCon and ERBFest.
One change you’ll notice: We’ve retired the old Pulp Event Podcast name (it was kinda bland, huh?) and rebranded with something more fitting: Pulp Tales.
You can count on Pulp Tales providing recordings from PulpFest panels and presentations (hopefully posted a little more promptly in the future). Within the year, we’ll start dropping some stand-alone episodes from our dusty pulp archives, including recordings that go back decades. So stay tuned.
Would I love to go back and re-edit and rebrand the 120-plus older episodes under the new name? Sure. Will that actually happen anytime soon? Being realistic, probably not.
You can catch Pulp Tales on the web at ThePulp.Net, or find it on your favorite podcast platform.
If you enjoy Pulp Tales, spread the word to your fellow pulp fans — and maybe even leave us a review. It helps more people discover the world of the pulp magazines.
Thanks for listening, and see you (soon!) at PulpFest 2025.
