Today’s the first full day of PulpFest 2025. I plan on posting photos to PulpFest to ThePulp.Net’s Instagram feed throughout the day, so check back if there aren’t too many images showing below.
There’s still plenty of time for you to get to Mars, Penn. (just north of Pittsburgh). PulpFest lasts through Sunday, but Saturday night is really the last of the real action at the pulp convention. While the dealer room will be open Sunday morning, most of the dealers will be packing up by then.
Dealers began setting up last night (with a strictly enforced “no selling” policy in place). Some are still arriving and setting up this morning, but doors opened at 9 a.m. for early-bird shopping.
The annual pizza dinner at PulpFest begins around 5 this evening, and then shortly before 7 p.m., PulpFest chair Jack Cullers kicks off the evening of presentations with a brief welcome. That’s when I’ll start posting regularly.
Closing out the night will be the Bronze Bash, marking the return of Doc Con after eight years, this time at PulpFest.
Watch below for photographs and captions from Thursday evening’s events. The images appear shortly after they have been posted, so check back for updates throughout the day.
Please feel free to comment at the bottom of this post, or like or share the images on Instagram or other social media. I’m using the hashtag #pulpfest2025 on my photos from the convention; I encourage you to do the same.
