The magazine gave way to the <em>Uncanny Tales<\/em> name with the April\/May 1939 number.<\/p>\n<p><em>Uncanny Tales<\/em> ended its run with its May 1940 number.<\/p>\n<p>In November 1940, a Canadian pulp picked up the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/UncannyTales(Canada)\">Uncanny Tales<\/a><\/em> moniker, though it was unrelated to the previous magazine. (The Canadian pulp was published by Adam Publishing Co., and later by Norman Book Co.)<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pulpartists.com\/ScottJW.html\" target=\"_blank\">J.W. Scott<\/a><\/strong> painted this and the other four <em>Uncanny Tales<\/em> covers.<\/p>\n<p>Who wouldn&#8217;t want to pick up this issue at <a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/pulp-info\/pulp-history\/pulp-photos\/\">the newsstand<\/a>?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What more could you want from this classic SF cover from Uncanny Tales?
