Lovecraft<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s death, it seems like an appropriate time to take a look at a video adaptation of his story &#8220;The Shadow Out of Time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Shadow Out of Time&#8221; ran in the June 1936 number of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/AstoundingMagazine\">Astounding<\/a><\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/yellowedperils\/2013\/01\/14\/h-p-lovecrafts-tips-for-fictioneers\/\" title=\"H.P. Lovecraft\u2019s tips for fictioneers\">Lovecraft<\/a>&#8216;s fourth and final appearance in that magazine. Previously &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/yellowedperils\/2011\/06\/28\/del-toro-hasnt-given-up-on-madness\/\" title=\"Del Toro Hasn\u2019t Given Up on \u2018Madness\u2019\">At the Mountains of Madness<\/a>&#8221; had been serialized in the February, March and April 1936 numbers.<\/p>\n<p>The story was featured on the cover, one of many <em>Astounding<\/em> covers by artist <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pulpartists.com\/Brown.html\" target=\"_blank\">Howard V.
