It was a huge issue with 244 pages, so there was plenty of fiction to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>Was it the cover story, &#8220;The Test Tube Girl,&#8221; by <strong>Frank Patton<\/strong>? <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/BesterAlfred\">Alfred Bester<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s &#8220;Life for Sale&#8221;? &#8220;Mystery of the Blue God,&#8221; by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/BatesHarry\">Harry Bates<\/a><\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/WilliamsRobertMoore\">Robert Moore Williams<\/a><\/strong>&#8216; &#8220;Planet of Doomed Me&#8221;? &#8220;Somerset, the Scientific Monkey,&#8221; by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/PulpWiki\/BernDonald\">Donald Bern<\/a><\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>The photo (below) is the latest addition to our ever-growing <a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/pulp-info\/pulp-history\/pulp-photos\/\">Pulp Photos gallery<\/a>. (Were they his mother and sister?
