You probably noticed that the Yellowed Perils<\/em> and The Pulp Super-Fan<\/a><\/em> blogs have a new look.<\/p>\n

Gone are the old stylized logos at the top of the pages, replaced by the same logo of ThePulp.Net<\/a> and menu that you’ll find in the main part of ThePulp.Net. Beneath that is a new Yellowed Perils<\/em> logo band (or The Pulp Super-Fan<\/em>, if you’re reading Michael<\/a><\/strong>‘s blog).<\/p>\n

My earlier post — “The future of ThePulp.Net?<\/a>” — appeared previously in a Pulp Era Amateur Press Association mailing. One of the comments I received asked why ThePulp.Net didn’t carry its branding throughout the site. It did seem as though Yellowed Perils<\/em> and The Pulp Super-Fan<\/em> blogs were their own websites, when in fact they are part of the greater website.<\/p>\n

I realized that I didn’t have a good answer to that question. That set me to work. The result is what you see at the top.<\/p>\n

I hope that it will encourage visitors to these blogs to explore the rest of ThePulp.Net. I think you will find a lot of great information in those pages. The new header makes it easier to jump between pages without having to return to ThePulp.Net homepage to get there.<\/p>\n

In addition to the new logos, the typeface throughout the website should be easier to read. An email that came as a result of that previous post<\/a> commented that the gray type was too difficult to read, both in tone and size.<\/p>\n

I’ve darkened the color of the body text throughout the website now. I’m still experimenting with the size of the body type, so bear with me on that.<\/p>\n

In addition to design tweaks, I’m working to get back into a routine of posting new content on Yellowed Perils<\/em> more regularly. So stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
