\"PulpFest\"<\/a>Let\u2019s get this blog back up and running. It\u2019s been in hiatus for much too long.<\/p>\n

What better way to restart than with coverage of PulpFest 2019<\/a>. The summer\u2019s pulp con gets underway in just a week, on Thursday, Aug. 15.<\/p>\n

As in 2017, I\u2019ll be posting photos to ThePulp.Net\u2019s Instagram<\/a> feed, which will automatically appear in the daily posts here on Yellowed Perils<\/em>. So if you have an Instagram account, please follow TPN and react and comment there; if you don\u2019t, you can follow along and comment here.<\/p>\n

Speaking of social media, I\u2019m hoping to do a bit of live streaming videos on TPN\u2019s Facebook page<\/a> from PulpFest. And posting updates on TPN’s Twitter feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I will also have my trusty audio recorder, and plan on recording as many of the pulp-related panels as I can. It usually takes a couple of weeks to edit and otherwise prepare the audio for posting. Keep an eye on the Pulp Event Podcast<\/a><\/em> feed in iTunes<\/a> or Google Play<\/a> (or the Pulp Event Podcast<\/em> page here at TPN) for them to appear.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m looking forward to PulpFest. We seem to have a really terrific lineup of presentations in the evenings, readings during the day, and, of course, the dealers\u2019 room. Oh, and another great number of The Pulpster<\/a><\/em> will be coming out then. (Disclaimer: I\u2019m on the PulpFest Committee, so I have a bit of bias here.)<\/p>\n

Getting back to the end of Yellowed Perils\u2019<\/em> hiatus, I\u2019m planning on ramping things up to get back into a regular routine of posting. Please keep an eye on this blog going forward. And, as always, comments are welcome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
