Lovecraft<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s 1931 novella &#8220;At the Mountains of Madness&#8221; that was serialized in <em class=\"pulp-magazine\">Astounding Stories<\/em> (February, March, and April 1936).<\/p>\n<p>Just in the past week, <em>Collider<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/guillermo-del-toro-mountains-of-madness-adaptation-stop-motion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported that del Toro<\/a> was planning a stop-motion film based on &#8220;Mountains.&#8221; That was pretty exciting sounding, and I was about to post something on it.<\/p>\n<p>But, del Toro quickly corrected that article in a tweet:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I don\u2019t, really- just a pull quote they did. A stop-motion version could be very cool.
