We welcomed in 2023 a few days ago, and with it a new feature at ThePulp.Net: On This Date<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\""Detective<\/a>Every day you’ll find an updated list<\/a> celebrating the anniversaries of births and deaths of those who produced the pulp magazines — publishers, editors, fictioneers, artists, and others — and those who have contributed to pulp collecting and fandom.<\/p>\n

For the past 10 years, we’ve remembered those pulpsters (almost) daily in thousands of tweets on Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Twitter never made it easy to schedule those tweets. Each one had to be scheduled individually, and that could be as many as a dozen for a single day. That was a pain. And that’s not to mention when I missed my calendar reminder to add more tweets.<\/p>\n

I’ve been looking around for an alternative way to honor the memories of those pulpsters. Creating a dedicated page — On This Date<\/a><\/em> — was the answer.<\/p>\n
