The morning started with a trip to the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (how could you pass that up?). Duane had to get home for his wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>By the time the dealers\u2019 room closed at 5 p.m. Saturday, a large portion of the dealers had backed up and departed the show. It looks like there will be just over half remaining for Sunday\u2019s final session.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don Ramlow<\/strong> reported that around 67 Pulpcon attendees went to the banquet at the Spaghetti Warehouse. The dinner ran long, so the evening activities got underway about 20 minutes late.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tpn-25-block-r\">\n<h2 class=\"tpn-25-block-head\"><span class=\"tpn-25-block-background\">Photos &#038; audio<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/thepulp.net\/pulp-info\/convention-coverage\/pulpcon-2006\/\">Click for photos and audio from Pulpcon 35<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s guest of honor, <strong>Phil Klass<\/strong> (aka <strong>William Tenn<\/strong>), provided an entertaining hour of tales of writing for the science fiction pulps. (I plan to post the audio of the session within the next couple of days, so check back.)<\/p>\n<p>The Pulpcon players took the stage for a rendition of \u201cDeath Triangle,\u201d an episode of <em>The Shadow<\/em> radio program.<\/p>\n<p>The con\u2019s second auction got under way following the radio play. Chris Kalb graciously agreed to provide highlights of the auction since I couldn\u2019t stay. (So watch for that, too.)<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve got an early flight out of Cincinnati tomorrow, so I\u2019ve got to cut the evening short (hence, the brief report from today).
