Well, since ThePulp.Net<\/a> is still around after 30 years<\/a>, I thought I should devote some time to updating it. I\u2019ve been combing through the various pages, updating websites, revising descriptions, and culling dead links.<\/p>\n And I didn\u2019t stop only at links.<\/p>\n If you click on The Shadow<\/a>, Doc Savage<\/a>, and The Spider<\/a> links at TPN, you\u2019ll find new landing pages for each \u2014 with introductions to the characters, their histories, and their place in pulp fiction, along with links to the best resources on the web organized by topic. The old pages were link lists with short intros. The new ones combine expanded content with the curated links. Whether you\u2019re new to the pulps or have been reading and collecting them for years, there\u2019s a section for you.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve taken the same approach with the main Pulp Websites page<\/a>, reorganizing it to make it easier to find what you\u2019re looking for: whether that\u2019s a broad introduction to the pulps, resources on specific characters, or the images and texts that bring the era to life. I\u2019m particularly pleased with a new section on the page called \u201cThe People Behind the Pulps<\/a>,\u201d covering the writers, artists, and editors who created those flaking magazines we so love.<\/p>\n There should be fewer broken links now, and I plan on updating things more regularly. If you spot a missing link or a site that belongs here, please let me know<\/a>. (Oh, yeah, I fixed the Contact page<\/a>, too, after I was alerted that it wasn\u2019t working.)<\/p>\n As I said, we\u2019ve been around for 30 years now. I want ThePulp.Net to remain the web\u2019s go-to site for pulp information for as long as possible.<\/p>\n
