Tune in tomorrow for pulps…

Dial P for Pulp
Dial P for Pulp

Well, it should be “Tune in last week…” As usual, my to-do list got undone, so here nearly a week later, I’m writing about something that happened last week (but you haven’t missed out on it yet).

David Drage introduced his first Dial P for Pulp podcast last week. It’s 43 minutes of pulp goodness, for those of you who haven’t heard it.

Head over to his Web site to download it for listening later. I downloaded it and put it on my iPod for mobile listening. (You can subscribe to it through iTunes now.)

David put together a show featuring a review of the book Hardboiled Cthulhu, an interview with Tom Roberts who illustrated the recently released Doc Savage: The Lost Radio Scripts of Lester Dent, and a reading of the first portion of Robert E. Howard’s story, “Red Shadows.”

David says he expects to produce a new Dial P for Pulp podcast each month. But he needs your help with news and contributions in the way of reviews and commentary. He says you can write them up and send them to him, or record them yourself. You can find out more about contributing on his site.

He’s hoping to take the podcast to twice a month if it’s popular enough. Let’s hope he can.
