On this last day of 2014, I wanted to take a moment to remember those in the pulp community that we lost over the course of the year. And if there is anyone not mentioned here, please post a note about them in the comments.
Among those who died in 2014:
• Neal Barrett Jr., SF fan and writer, on Jan. 12.
• Peter Ruber, Arkham House editor and pulp biographer, on March 6.
• Daniel Keyes, associate editor of Marvel Science Stories and fictioneer, on June 15.
• Frank M. Robinson, longtime pulp collector, fictioneer and fan, on June 30.
• Larry Latham, pulp fan, animator and creator of the online comic series Lovecraft Is Missing, on Nov. 2.
Our community is a small one, so every loss touches many of us. Our thoughts go out to their families and friends.
